   I completely agree with James on this. The idea of “approaching” with loud, joyous music and working toward “on your face” worship has proven to be extremely powerful. I recall a non-believer I had invited to church saying that he found himself crying by the end. I don’t think that was because we manipulated him into that emotion; but rather it was a natural consequence of being in the presence of convicted believers living out their worship right in front of him.

   This is an approach that I often use because it does help focus and guide people. It also follows the idea of ‘calling’ people to worship their God. Usually, a call is loud and boisterous to bring the people from wherever they are to face their God. However, I praise God that He never made a law for us to follow with this, and our freedom in Christ allows us to express ourselves genuinely in anyway we’d like as long as it’s not against the Bible. He encourages our artistic and creative natures.
